Lincoln was picked up at auction. An old ranch horse that everyone had forgotten and just thrown away Lincoln was a proud horse and you could tell at one time must’ve had a commanding presence. He came to us and his spirit was broken, his body wasn’t in the best shape. With some love and TLC Lincoln started to come back and shine. He was so talented and wanted to please you. But he also had his own opinions on what he liked and didn’t like Lincoln was adopted just a few short months after we rescued him by a wonderful family who lives about 3 hours away. He has a beautiful home in the mountains. A herd of his own and most importantly a family to love him. He’s a trail horse for Dad and a Jr. Rodeo horse for his little boy. Lincoln was our very first rescue and holds such a special place in our hearts.
Each and everyone one of these horses holds a special place in our heart! Believe it or not, 3 of us don't always bond with a horse together. Sometimes horses like one of us better than the other or responds better to one person…etc. When they leave, they take a piece of us with them...
